About us
IFP is an Italian industrial company, specialized in the production of high-carbon steel wire rods and wires for demanding applications, including ropes, cables, springs, reinforcements, as well as construction and transportation sectors.
Founded in Pian Camuno (BS) in the year 1999 it has developed an integrated supply chain model with in-house controls at each production step, seeking to fully respond to customers’ needs.
From raw material to finished product, IFP always operates in full compliance with each customer’s specific requirement.
Our history
1999 – The origins
The partnership of three companies led to the creation of IFP, specializing in the manufacturing of steel wire.
2000 – Vertical integration
The first line of lead patenting, phosphating and galvanization for diameters 1,80 to 10,00 mm was installed.
2006 – Technical and sales evolution
The second line of lead patenting, phosphating and galvanization for diameters 10,00 to 17,00 mm was installed.
2007 – Zn-Al kettles installed
Kettles for the zinc-aluminum coating were fitted in
2018 – The Extreme Wire
The new production plant in Pianico (Bergamo) was inaugurated, specifically dedicated to cold-drawing of high carbon steel wires.
